CHRISTMAS Y U NO COME SOONER?
Friday, November 26, 2010 •5:44 PM
Days till Christmas: 29 Tralalalalalalalala~ Sup homies! Christmas is just round the corner! Can't wait to receive my presents from Saint Nicholas, although he's been ignoring me the past few years. LETTER TO SANTA: Dear Santa Claus, Why is it that every year I write you a letter for 20 million dollars, the latest video game, and 50 heat-seeking missiles, I end up unwrapping a present with clothes and books? Can't you read the letters that I actually devote time to writing? Or are you just an evil elf bent on ruining a child's life? Last year I asked for a giant stocking to prepare for this year. I'm just trying to make life easier as I do not wish to wake up to groans and seeing you trying to stuff my 7,000 gifts in my tiny stocking. What do you do? You send me not a giant stocking, but a giant sweather that I cannot wear because number one, it dosen't fit me, and number two, this is Singapore for God's sake. This year I request for clothes and books. Everytime I ask for video games you give me clothes. Everytime I ask for weapons you give me books. This year I do the opposite so I shall receive video games and weapons since you just love doing the opposite. So Santa, 200,000 books and 1,000,000 pieces of clothing it shall be. God bless. Leon. Speaking of weapons, you should have heard that North Korea has attacked their counterparts South Korea with a nuclear bomb. Analyst say that the attack is not going to start war, and that it was just to warn South about North Korea's upcoming leader, Kim Jong-Un. Well I don't know, but I hope South don't start an attack on North and stimulate World War III. Okay just to upgrade your good-for-nothing brains, North and South Korea used to be one nation, ruled by Japan from 1910 to the end of World War II. Following the surrender of Japan in 1945, American administrators split the nation along the 38th Parallel, with the United States troops occupying the southern part and Soviet troops occupying the North. The two sides' division was deepened when the Korean Peninsula failed to hold a free election throughout the nation. The North established a Communist goverment soon after. On 25 June, 1950, the North side invaded South. The UN, particularly the United States, came to the aid of South Korea in repelling the invasion. Thus, it was the start of the Korean War. So anyway, the war lasted 3 years and North lost early battles and were pushed back past the 38th Paralell, towards the People's Republic of China (PRC) and fearing that the war would come towards them, the latter aided Communist North. So it was PRC and Soviet backing North and UN backing South. In 1953, the war was finally over. The Korea Demillitarized Zone (DMZ), a 2.5-mile (4.0 km) wide buffer zone between the two Koreas was created but you can still tell that the two sides still give each other the cold eye. Like how North bombed South like a few days ago. Yeah okay I don't really care. #KEEDING. In 48 states, prisoners are not allowed to vote; however, they are allowed to run for OFFICE! Pancakes be Awesome, LeWorn :) |
