So this is the anime I'm watching and the main source of information for my manga. Its pretty awesome, so yeah.

The story is about this li'l kid Luffy who sets out to beome the greatest pirate ever, like everyone else, and find the legendary treasure One Piece, which the greatest (executed) pirate (who had wealth, fame, AND power) Gold D. Roger "had left behind at that place" which is the Grand Line. With people from across the world all looking for the treasure, the world now enters the Grand Age of Pirates.

The Marines are like the Police Force trying to stop this Grand Age, and they set up wanted posters for dangerous pirates, which inspires bounty hunters who need Beli (currency).

So Luffy forms his own crew, The Straw Hat Crew (named after Luffy's straw hat, which was given to him by one of the greatest pirates and friend, Shanks Le Roux). The Straw Hat Crew started with only Luffy and Zoro, an ex-bounty hunter and one of the greatest swordsmen, second only to Hawkeye Mihawkm, who he repeatedly tries to defeat. Soon, the Straw Hat Crew evolves to a deadly crew, complete with awesome fighters, cooks, navigators, musicians, and snipers.

The crew consists of: Luffy (Captain), Zoro (Swordsman), Sanji (Fighter/Cook), Nami (Navigator), Brook (Musician), Tony Tony Chopper (Doctor), Franky (Engineer), and Nico Robin (Archaeologist).

Awesome eh?
